In this episode, we speak with Sadiq Onifade, popularly known as Wurld, Nigerian singer and songwriter. He started his career by writing songs for popular artists such as BOB, Akon, Trinidad James, Mario, and others. His debut EP, "Evolution," was released in 2013, with the lead single "Beyond Our Dreams" released the previous year. In 2016, WurlD worked with Walshy Fire of Major Lazer and Shizzi to release the hit song "Show You Off," which furthered his popularity and landed him coverage on major platforms like Vice, MTVBase, and E! Online.
WurlD co-wrote "Blow My Mind" by Davido featuring Chris Brown and collaborated with award-winning Nigerian producer Sarz on the critically acclaimed project "ILGWT" (I Love Girls With Trobul). WurlD's versatility as an artist shines through in his songs, personality, and brand, and he strives to remain authentic while connecting with people through his art.
